Today I want to share with you a new tool🎊🎉. It is about creating infographics, this tool is called Easel.ly. If you click here you will go to the website.

It is super easy to use and so predictable, It has pre-created templates that will help you to start creating your own infographic. As all the tools that I have posted before It is for FREE.

I have really enjoyed this tool and I think that is so useful to create materials for CLIL subjects such Science, Social Science, Arts...

I would like to show you also the infographic that I have created. It is about the food pyramid and I think that is so visual and that students will understand clearly all the information included. I would use it in a Science class, with 1st or 2nd grade students.

Creating comics! 

Today I would like to show you a tool for create comics. 

This tool is called Storyboard. It is a  free tool that will help you to create resources for your students. 

It is a predictable website where you will find different bottons with the different elements of a comic:  layers, characters... when you add them, you can also edit them and change their posture, face...

I really recomend you this app because after trying another ones, such as pixton which I really have problems with. I struggled while trying to create a comic using this app. I think Storyboard is easier if it is your first creation. 

In my case, I have created a comic about happiness that can be incorporated to a real class to explain students what happiness means by examples.

 Learning by doing! 

Today, in Science class we have learnt the parts of the plants. 

I got 6 year old students and I would like to share with you our lesson because they found it super fun. 

We started watching a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3St51F4kE8 and after that guess what.... WE BECAME PLANTS! 🌱🌻

Our head was now the flower, our torso was the stem, our arms the leaves and our foot the roots. To remember and learn the names of the parts we´ve played a game in which I told them to touch the different parts and I increased and lowed the speed of the commands. 

After that we used Playdoh, I think that it is one of the things that they enjoy the most. 

I gave them a cardboard and they should just create their plants, after that we wrote the names and they have taken it home to be "mini teachers" (which they love😀) and explain what they have learn to their families. 

I let you here a picture of how It will look like, it is a fun activity for them and I think that they learn by playing and doing.

Plant parts.

 Today we are going to learn plants! 

As you know, plants got parts, like we humans do! 

So let´s start......

There are many different kinds of plants, but all of them share the same parts. 

Leaves:  They are one of the most important part of a plant. On them, plants make their food. They got different shapes.

Stem: It supports leaves and flowers. You can see the stem in brown.

Roots:  It is usually hidden underground. They hold the plant in the ground.

Flower: It is the. part of a plant that blossoms. Flowers produce the seeds.

Fruit:  It is the part of a flowering plant that contains the seeds.
