Recording videos. 📹
Good afternoon dear readers,
Today I would like to share with you my experience recording a video that can be used in a CLIL classroom.
The first step to record the video was to create a script, for this task, we have used the tool Storyboard.that.
Once everything was planned, we drove to the location when we wanted to film the video.
The location chosen was Buitrago del Lozoya, a small village that belongs to Madrid.
The tools that we used to record our video were: a mobile phone, something that we all have and a drone.
To edit the video, we used the program IMovie, which allows you to edit, cut, paste, add... After creating the video we upload it to YouTube, here you can see the result.
Regarding how to use this tool in a CLIL classroom, I think that kids love to produce on their own and recording videos combine different skills such as developing imagination or planning skills.
It is an activity that can be adapted from lower levels to higher levels. On grades 1 st to 3rd, the teacher can record their videos or presentations and then on the rest of the levels they can do it on your own.
Also, this activity can be done on different subjects like ICT and Science or even in Arts.
